  • Tables are a result of VCCER analysis. Totals may differ slightly from those listed elsewhere in this web site due to different data parameters and methods of obtaining information. Total average productivity is extrapolated by dividing total total short tons produced by total hours at all mines producing coal.
  • Totals may not equal sum of components due to independent rounding.
  • Mines were not required to report wages. During 1994, wages for 19 mines producing 1,001,661 tons were unavailable, and have not been included in these totals.
