VCCER Announces Search for ARIES Outreach Coordinator

Position summary: The Appalachian Research Initiative for Environmental Science (ARIES) outreach coordinator leads the efforts to communicate the progress and successes of ARIES research to sponsors, stakeholders, the media and the public. The incumbent also assists the ARIES project director in managing the dissemination of results and in communicating with the researchers at ARIESmember institutions. Efforts of the outreach coordinator enhance the broader public knowledge of the ARIES program through use of social media, web sites, and traditional media outlets. The coordinator is also responsible for assisting in fundraising, conference management, and identifying opportunities to communicate about the ARIES program and related research.
